Following a competitive tendering process, RT Infrastructure Solutions is delighted to announce a successful award of a place on Transport for London’s Railway Signals Labour Framework.
The framework, which covers signalling labour resources across TfL’s extensive network, will be utilised by TfL’s Signal Works Asset Performance Delivery team to supplement internal resource capacity across a wide range of disciplines. The scope encompasses roles including Technical Officers, Signalling Project Engineers, Installers, Testers, Works Controllers, Wiremen, IRSE Licensed Engineering Managers, and a host of other specialist disciplines, ensuring that TfL can call upon qualified, experienced personnel to meet the demands of its signalling asset maintenance and delivery programme.
The framework is structured for an initial five-year term, with annual renewals for up to three years, bringing the maximum duration to 96 months. With three operators appointed to the framework and an expected framework value of £75 million, RT Infrastructure Solutions is proud to have secured its position amongst an outstanding group of specialist signalling contractors.
Personnel operating on the framework will work across a variety of shift patterns, including days, nights, bank holidays, and weekends, in line with London Underground and Network Rail engineering working hours.
RT Infrastructure Solutions will draw upon its proven track record of delivering high-quality signalling works across the rail network, including recent successful project completions directly with TfL and alongside principal contractors, to support the capital’s vital signalling infrastructure.
Discussing the framework award, RT-IS Managing Director Andy Thorpe said:
“RT Infrastructure Solutions is delighted to have secured a place on TfL’s Railway Signals Labour Framework. This award is a credit to the skill, dedication, and professionalism of our entire team, and further underlines our position as a trusted and capable signalling contractor within the UK rail industry. We look forward to working closely with TfL to deliver the high standards of safety, quality, and reliability that London’s rail network demands.”
