RT Infrastructure Solutions is proud to recognise and support the remarkable fundraising efforts of our colleague Nadine Wood, who has raised an impressive £33,000 in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.
Nadine launched the campaign in memory of three close family members tragically lost to brain cancer. What began as a personal challenge has grown into a remarkable community endeavour, driven by dedication, compassion and unwavering commitment to making a positive difference.
Since starting her 30for30 challenge in April, Nadine has raised more than £33,000 through an uplifting mix of activities. These have included a sky dive, a charity rugby match, a bake sale and a series of local events supported by family, friends and members of the wider community. Throughout, Nadine’s determination has remained rooted in honouring her loved ones and supporting vital research that brings hope to families affected by brain cancer.
RT Infrastructure Solutions was pleased to contribute £3,000 towards the initiative, reflecting our commitment to backing our employees in the causes that matter most to them. Seeing the drive, organisation and heart Nadine has invested in this challenge has been inspiring to all of us at RTIS.
Speaking about her journey, Nadine shared how her family’s experience has shaped her mission:
“Even now it doesn’t feel like their loss has sunk in, and I don’t think it will for a while. But the work The Brain Tumour Charity does is amazing. The highlight for me has been seeing my family, friends and community come together in support.”
The campaign has drawn generous backing from several local businesses, including Colour Plan Ipswich, Emma’s Florist and JP Metal Works, all of whom have contributed to the momentum behind the fundraising total.
Nadine’s dedication embodies the values we hold as an organisation: compassion, resilience and a commitment to improving the lives of others. We are immensely proud of her achievements and grateful for the awareness she continues to raise.
