RTIS pass RIPS Audit

We are pleased to announce that on the 2nd July we successfully passed our Railway Interface Planning Scheme (RIPS) audit which is the mandatory pre-requisite for achieving  a very much sought after Railway Contractor Certificate (RCC). We will now be listed on Link Up as holding RIPS as a specialist supplier qualification, which can be searched for by buyers in the rail community.

By passing our RIPS audit we were deemed competent in demonstrating that we have a sufficient and suitable management system/s in accordance with the RIPS Rules to act as a RIPS provider engaged in contracts directly with Network Rail, or as a subcontractor for a Principal Contractor (PC) on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure (NRMI). The RIPS Rules also define the minimum expectations and resources to be consulted in the development and implementation of a plan, and the competences required by those involved in the planning of rail works.

Although this does not guarantee contract work it is a requirement that Network Rail places on its contractors in order to achieve consistent improvement in the delivery of maintenance programmes and infrastructure projects. Approval will remain valid through continued compliance with the RIP Scheme Rules and through an ongoing programme of annual audits and monitoring.
